The city of Abadeh in the Fars province of Iran is famous for its beautiful hand crafted Abadeh carpets and rugs. Also know as a type of Persian carpet, and primarily woven by local woman artisans, Abadeh rugs come in a variety of size and are recognized by their uniquely intricate design patterns and rich colors.
Today Abadeh rugs are made with larger and better looms, and use a high knot density and high quality cotton foundations.
